Cathedral Length Veil

I'm still excited about this eleven foot cathedral length veil that I made for my bride Tracy. It's a gorgeous drop veil with French Chantilly lace trim all along the edge.

Everything I make is hand-stitched. I don't use a machine. This particular veil took a lot of man-hours. I mean, a lot of man-hours! It was hand-stitched with invisible thread.

Invisible thread is tricky to work with because it tends to tangle whilst you're sewing; but it gives the veil a clean finish. It requires patience and love. I guess, I have lots of that...lol.

Please share in my joy and pride by taking a look at this beaut:

Hair Jewels

Everything I make is handcrafted. It's time consuming but I love it. There's a feeling I cannot describe when I'm in that zone were it's just me and the materials -shaping them into something fills my heart with joy and purpose.

These hair jewels I made for a bride getting married on Oct. 29th were a labor of love. Daniela will definitely rock them on her big day. She's wearing the jewels with her custom birdcage blusher that I also made for her.

Flowers

Flowers. Flowers. Flowers...sigh. I'm in love with them. Tremendously. Especially this bouquet style that I've been seeing more and more frequently. The flowers seem to be dripping, oozing out of the brides hands. I'm not sure what the florist call this style of arranging but I love it!

Check out these bouquets I refer to as drimpinge 😊.

Real Bride - Feature

My bride Shirin's wedding was featured on the Wedluxe Blog. I almost fainted at how beautiful her wedding was. I remember when Shirin came to see me. She was looking for a: veil, belt / sash, and a flower headpiece. I made all three for her. Her belt will forever be my favorite. It was so detailed and stunning.

Check out my bride y'all:

Handmade

This veil takes days to make. It requires delicate handwork. The leaves are made from silk and the vine branches are made from silk cording. I create a pattern that I repeat. It's a big task whenever I get an order for this Vine Veil.

Real Posh Veils Bride - Brittany

I love how Brittany (also an awesome photographer by the way) had the chance to do a romantic boudoir-esque shoot in her veil and floral crown. There's something so ethereal about how beautifully she was captured.
I love this image below!

Real Brides - Toronto, Canada

Barbara contacted me a couple of months before her wedding to discuss the veil she wanted for her wedding. We met in person and had our casual bridal consultation at Starbucks. We had a long and girly chat about her wedding plans, her dress, and what she had in mind for her veil. I guess that's what I love about face to face bridal consultations; you get to see the excitement in the bride's eyes when she talks about her wedding plans, and fiance.

After a few emails back and forth, Barb decided she wanted to go with a classic cathedral veil. I was ecstatic. It was my first cathedral length veil order. Her dress was beautifully embellished so I knew that the veil had to be understated so as not to over power her stunning dress.

Barb got married this past summer; here's the lovely bride in her veil for you all to see:

Real Brides - Houston, TX

I am so excited to share a wonderful wedding trailer for a recent bride's wedding. The film is shot by the super talented team at 31 Films. Uche looks absolutely incredible! She threw such a lovely wedding too.

When Uche contacted me to order her wedding veil in August, she was looking for something unique and glam. After considering her dress design and searching for something that would compliment it, Uche fell in love with the tulle fascinator. We then added a birdcage netting to complete the look. Uche, you're one classy lady. Thank you for allowing me to make your wedding headpiece.

If you're looking for a wedding photographer in the Houston, Texas area, Collins (the groom) is an amazing wedding photographer. If you have a moment, check out his site: http://www.collinsmetu.com/

Real Brides - Baracé, France

The most important thing to me when it comes to running Posh Veils is making brides happy. I take that seriously. I know that wedding planning can be stressful so, I make it a point to make sure that when a bride-to-be contacts me, I make the process of finding and purchasing her veil an easy one.

Yesterday, one of my former brides contacted me to let me know that she was featured on 100 Layer Cake blog. With blogs receiving hundreds of wedding feature requests from recently married couples, I was so happy to hear that her wedding was featured. The beautiful wedding took place in Baracé, France *swoon*. If you've never heard of 100 Layer Cake, you better head on over there! They offer amazing wedding inspiration and goodies. Whilst there, check out the posting of a bride wearing the Posh Veils "Ethereal tulle and lace self-tie cap." I love the way she wore it. That's the thing about some of the designs, brides find ways to put their own spin and creativity to how they're worn. I love that! Monique looks fabulous and her groom is dashing. Don't you think?

Here is an image you'll find amongst others on the posting on 100 Layer Cake blog: (More pictures can also be seen on the photographer's blog):
