I've always been talented at making ridiculous excuses for not baking: the oven is not clean enough, I don’t own the right recipe book, and I don’t know how to make that…and so on and so on. The list is endless. Lately, I’m on a quest to stop doing that and to start immersing myself in everything I love doing. I’m allowing myself to just follow my interests and passions. I’m really good at working with my hands and I'm pretty good at seeing something done once, and then being able to replicate it.
I made scones again (but this time with white flour). B. argues that I should have browned the scones a little bit more but, this is how I remembered being taught to brown them in Food and Nutrition at school. Now that I'm getting the hang of including baking in my life, I am going shopping for a cake stand. Will blog about it if I find something I love.
