Trims

I get into a trance when I'm sewing. I feel good, I'm calm, and I'm happy. I really do love sewing. Veils are my favorite to make because I get to use a needle and thread. The lace trims take the longest. Well, actually no, the tiny flowers I did for the Petals and Pearls veil has to be the most tiring embellishment work I have done to date.

Wire work, like the bridal vines and combs are fun too but holding a needle and thread is where my heart is.

Common Elements

Hi dolls. Today's blog post is about how you can highlight / repeat a wedding element or wedding theme through-out your wedding. Great ways to incorporate them is in your: stationery, linens, cake, and even your veil. I created these boards to show you veils that tie in nicely to a similar design theme in wedding cakes. Be creative and have fun with it :)

Oooh la la...shoes so pretty!

I love photographers! Well, I mean, I love great photographers; photographers that can capture an image that makes you want to laugh and weep, and wish you were their best friend. Yep, I stalk photographers in my spare time :)

When I look at a wedding album/gallery, I love to see the staples: the dress shot, the shoe shot, the ring shot, etc. I love how one photographer captures it differently from another. It's pure art [lets out a soft sigh]. Today I'm sharing shoe shots I went goo goo ga ga over. As always my loves, may you forever be inspired!

Pretty Accessories

Accessories can be as demure or as loud and over the top as you want them to be. It really all depends on what looks great with the dress you've chosen and what you love. Toss out all the rules on picking out your accessories. As long as you look great and everything works together well, you can wear whatever you like. You shouldn't hesitate to try on a bold and chunky necklace just because some blogger says not to pair a detailed gown with a chunky statement necklace. Unless you try something on, you'll never know how it looks on you. Always try something on.

I created today's inspiration boards to get you to think of what you'll be wearing with your dress. Enjoy!
