Engagement Outfit Fridays: Fall/Winter Perfection

I know summer brings more options for engagement shoot sessions compared to Fall and Winter but Fall/Winter sessions can also be beautiful. An engagement session on a rainy day or even a cold winters day can be as romantic as a summer session. It's all in the attitude and mood you create. I've seen campfire shoots, rainy day shoots with kisses under the umbrella...you can totally make it work.

I love layered looks for Fall and Winter; amazing coats, sweaters and  boots, what's  not to love!? For today's outfit suggestions, I chose three layered looks that are not only cozy but stylish as well. Check these out:

Theme Suggestion For The Outfit:
Here's a great example of a winter engagement session. The theme was skiing. This shoot is beautifully captured by Emily Steffen. How amazing is the shoot and the couple!? To see more of this shoot, please head on over to Emily Steffen's website

That's So Printy

There are some trends that begin in home decor or fashion that swiftly move to the wedding industry. Chevron, bold prints, and use of color-blocking are just a few we've seen recently. These trends may die out in home decor or fashion but you'll find that they'll continue in weddings for quite some time. When they cease to be popular in the fashion world, some remain to become a classic in the wedding industry.

I was recently looking through place settings and was quickly drawn to the use of bold print. I know in the past we've normally seen the classic damask print, but print has been revamped in weddings. Check these out:

Engagement Outfit Fridays: Pops of Color

It's Friday, it's Friday *singing*. I hope your week has been amazing :)?
It's hard to say goodbye to summer and the warm sunshine but there's lots to look forward to in Fall and Winter. I especially love the pretty sweaters in bright colors :)
Color is a great way to brighten one's mood and overall look. If you've scheduled your engagement session this Fall or Winter, consider a colorful sweater. Check out these three looks:

Theme Suggestion For The Outfit:
Sweaters can easily be dressed up or down so any engagement theme pretty much works when it comes to sweaters. Check out this session in the woods beautifully photographed by Shannen Norman

Designer Love: Zahavit Tshuba

Okay, I don't know if you guys have seen Zahavit Tshuba's work yet!? Well, if you haven't, prepare to be blown away!

Zahavit's gowns are the epitome of sexy, modern, and elegance. I love how she plays around with silks, textures, crystal embellishments and fun fringe details. Zahavit Tshuba is based in Tel Aviv, check out her website!!! I recently found out a boutique in Woodbridge called Powder will be caring some of her gowns.
I am in love!!!

Oooh la la...shoes so pretty!

I love photographers! Well, I mean, I love great photographers; photographers that can capture an image that makes you want to laugh and weep, and wish you were their best friend. Yep, I stalk photographers in my spare time :)

When I look at a wedding album/gallery, I love to see the staples: the dress shot, the shoe shot, the ring shot, etc. I love how one photographer captures it differently from another. It's pure art [lets out a soft sigh]. Today I'm sharing shoe shots I went goo goo ga ga over. As always my loves, may you forever be inspired!

Vendor Love: The First Snow

Happy Monday my loves. Today I want to talk about a vendor whose work I absolutely love. She's called Darah and she is the owner/designer behind The First Snow. She hand-makes wedding stationery from: cake toppers, invites, thank you cards, table numbers, welcome signs, and a whole lot more. She even has everyday home or office decor posters / signs.

I first came across Darah's work on Pinterest (thank God for Pinterest) and I immediately fell in love with her work. The artwork I first spotted on Pinterest and had to have was her Here Comes The Bride sign (pic of it below) and contacted her right away. I needed the sign for my 2013 collection shoot and I bought if from her Etsy shop. She was kind enough to ship it to me with enough time to spare as I had contacted her with a rush order request. The sign is hanging in my office right now. She's super sweet and absolutely talented. You must check out her work and like her Facebook page.

So my darlings, this is the work of Darah from The First Snow. All the images are sourced from Darah's Etsy shop.

Engagement Outfit Fridays: Tights

Happy Friday! It's been a while since I last posted an engagement session outfit suggestion. Well, you'll notice that I've changed it up a bit. From now on, I'll be showcasing 3 looks I adore.

So, today, our look is all about tights. I loooooooove tights. I wear them all Fall and Winter long. I wish I were bold enough to wear them in bright colors too...but sadly, I tend to stick to black, brown and gray...blah, I know!

Anyway, here are today's 3 looks:

Theme Suggestion For The Outfit:
I think tights would be perfect for a stroll-in-the-park engagement session. I totally love the idea of a couple tossing golden leaves and being super adorable. Check out these incredible images by Olivia Leigh Photographie:
