Play Dress Up - Spring 2017

I'm so happy to announce that I'm hosting my Spring 2017 Play Dress Up event on Saturday April 8, 2017. Yay!!!!

This event is perfect for a bride that has chosen her dress and is now shopping for the perfect headpiece or veil.

The event is relaxed and fun. Brides get to see which styles they like, and what works best for them.

If you're a bride-to-be, I encourage you to book your appointment with me. If you know someone that's getting married and is looking for a veil or headpiece, please do share the event info with them.

xoxo

Cathedral Length Veil

I'm still excited about this eleven foot cathedral length veil that I made for my bride Tracy. It's a gorgeous drop veil with French Chantilly lace trim all along the edge.

Everything I make is hand-stitched. I don't use a machine. This particular veil took a lot of man-hours. I mean, a lot of man-hours! It was hand-stitched with invisible thread.

Invisible thread is tricky to work with because it tends to tangle whilst you're sewing; but it gives the veil a clean finish. It requires patience and love. I guess, I have lots of that...lol.

Please share in my joy and pride by taking a look at this beaut:

Outdoor Wedding Decor - Farm Tables

I have a thing for farm-tables but I have an even bigger thing for farm-table wedding decor!

I don't know if it's because we had them at my all girls boarding school or if its my obsession with the lavish feasts on 'Game of Thrones' and 'Vikings'. Either way, I'm obsessed.

Take a look...

White Wedding Cakes

Weddings are a reflection of the couple's personality. Most of the decisions a couple makes about: venue, color scheme, attire, or cake, are based on the budget first, then personality a close second.

Today, I'm sharing  white wedding cakes. Cakes that are probably for a couple that like a clean and minimalistic look.

These cakes are big on texture and with little to no color at all. They are chic and understated.

Take are look...

Wedding Invites

Every year I find myself mesmerized by how old traditions find new life in the minds of creatives. The wedding industry is filled with customs and traditions that have lasted throughout time.

The core elements: dress, cake, veil, flowers, and stationery, are always reinvented with each new wedding season. It's remarkable!

Take a look at these invites/stationery. I am in awe at all the prettiness!
